308Nut Report post Posted June 1, 2013 August 22-September 5. I have to be home by the 29th so I'll be down there early looking things over and hopefully get it done in 1 to 3 day hunt. I have 3 units to hunt and only 53 total tags. According to some research, most of the hunting takes place near Elko as most of the applicants there that hunt those units are from there and hunt near Elko. Getting away from Elko should help make for a peaceful and quality hunt. I'll probably fly to Salt Lake City and rent a vehicle to drive over, unless you wanted to hang out. Then I'd fly to Phoenix.
