Shedhunteraz Report post Posted May 30, 2013 Wife and I have had both of these coues bucks on camera. And just noticed the one has a very black tail. Has anyone come across these and what is the difference? Thanks.
CouesBuckhunter Report post Posted May 30, 2013 Just a genetic variation. I have seen many like that. As well as one that was black tipped and mostly white on the outside. This made him look like a muley in the glass. It's what makes these critters so interesting and exciting to check the cams.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted June 1, 2013 Like CouesBuckHunter said, it's normal variation. Brown, tan, black tails all occur on coues.
