Guest oneshot Report post Posted May 23, 2013 A common sight along I-19 south bound, over-loaded, un-secured loads, in vehicals (with Mexican plates) of questionable safety. The roadway may have not only "alligators" (blown truck tires) but everything from loveseats, chairs, and other debris that have fallen off to avoid at 75mph...This van was packed full inside, and the 'roof rack" is made from conduit and held on by c-clamps... I have never seen one pulled over and ticketed, but try to drive through GV/Sa overloaded and un-secured, and see how many tickets you can rack-up, (with Az plates)... Just wondering how many get stopped at the border and checked for weapons/ammo/money??? Seems like a great way to " import" for the cartels...

elkaholic Report post Posted May 23, 2013 I hate the truck/car where the oil seals are gone - they leave a trail of white smoke for 1/2 a mile - you almost suffocate at the intersection/ stoplight and and my car will fail at .o5 over the limit H20 carbons . seen the same vehicel 3-4 times drivin around - some cop has had to seen it-- an willing ignored it!!
joe hunter Report post Posted May 23, 2013 Why no enforcement ???? because we are going down to their level ...not making them come up to ours. Only thing I can come up with from what I'm seeing. You see that same thing in December all over the country. Looks like the Beverly Hillbillys headed home. Take a big truck into California with an unsecured load...you'll never do that again. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Norteno Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Everytime I have a yard sale these guys show up with their trailers. I take special care not to damage furniture or items I am selling as I place them outside. These guys come by, try to low ball you, but most of the time buy. Then they literally toss it in their trailer or truck Tetris stye. There is a big market for used furniture down there. What is law enforcement going to really do? Write them a ticket? Tell them to offload their truck on the side of the road leaving all that junk for us? I know it is an accident waiting to happen, but it is cheaper and easier to look the other way. We should make them unload it for inspection at the checkpoint to search for weapons. They can reload it however the F they want after they cross that line.
