F250 & 5th Wheel

Recommended Posts

UPDATE: I've had the trailer inspected and was told that it's in great shape. All it needed was to have the carbon cleanded from the furnace and fridge. A quick $100 job all taken care of.

I also received more feed back on it's value and we are offering the combo for $12,000 - $5500.00 for the trailer and $6500 for the truck. We will not sell the truck without the trailer unless the trailer sells first. We also have it listed on CL for a bit more.

thanks.

My stepfather passed away two years ago and my mom is ready to sell their 5th wheel and truck. The truck is a 1994 F250 XLT 4x4 79K miles. The trailer is a 1985 Royals International. Both are in excellent condition as they were always stored in a garage. Trailer has dual AC, single slide expanded gray/black tanks and is fully setup - dishes, pots, pans, linens and much more. Both truck and trailer have almost new tires with lot's of life, truck has new clutch power doors and locks and custom storage box in bed.

Would consider splitting for the right price. Taking to RV shop this week for full inspection and will discuss value with them. I only have a rough idea of what it'sworth so for now just taking offers. Once they inspect and provide value info I will update with price. My mom is very emotional about this so hoping it will go quickly.

If anyone knows of a consignment dealer in Tucson I would really appreciate their contact info.

Thanks for looking.

Just for your information. The Royals International was built by cariage and was the highest end best built fifth wheel of its day. The last ones that they built were in 2010 or 2011 and went for nearly $185,000. Back in 85 they sold new for 50 to 60 grand. Not your run of the mill fifth wheel. Cariage always made great fifth wheels and this was their best. Good luck selling them.

Thanks for the info. I knew it was top shelf back in the day probably why it has held up so nicely.
