May 9th – Chief Executive Magazine released this week its annual rankings of the best & worst states to do business. The ten best states in order were:

1) Texas

2) Florida

3) North Carolina

4) Tennessee

5) Indiana

6) Arizona

7) Virginia

8) South Carolina

9) Nevada

10) Georgia

All currently with Republican governors.

 

Libs will insist this is just a coinkydink.

 

Okay, as this must be. These are the ten US cities (population over 250,000) with the highest poverty rate in 2010. In parentheses is the last time that city had a Republican mayor.

1) Detroit – 32.5% (1961)

2) Buffalo – 31.5% (1954)

3) Cincinnati – 27.8% (1984)

4) Cleveland – 27.0% (1989)

5) Miami – 26.9% (never)

6) St. Louis – 26.8% (1949)

7) El Paso – 26.4% (never)

8) Milwaukee – 26.2% (1908)

9) Philadelphia – 25.1% (1952)

10) Newark – 24.2% (1907)

And he just made a stop in Texas today to brag about how raising taxes and growing government will save all.......in a state that completely does just the opposite.

 

New York just missed out on 8 billion over the last 4 years because Bloomer put a shut down on fracking in that state.....yep you got it right DB

Maybe Arizona might be good for business, however, the Liberal ,Tucson City Town "Clown-cil" is not very business friendly, and one of the reasons this city sucks so badly, Can't wait until I can afford to move out of here permanently.

That is the thing with the left. They really want people to be poor so that they can controll people. The left wants to tax more, to give more of our hard earned money away, to try and keep controll on people. Leberals really don't care about anyone, they just really want to control, and to do that, you make people reliant on the government.

Snapshot, you know it's to bad, Tucson used to be a great place back in the 70's and 80's. I'm from Tucson and grew up there. Took a summer job in Glacier park and ended up with the nick name Tucson John. I live in Tempe now but go down there several times a year because my sister and mom are there. I miss the beautiful mountain views and the somewhat cooler weather, but I certainly do not miss the crappy roads and deteriorating infrastructure! and why does it take them YEARS to build a five mile section of I-10? They have been working on that since I left in 1995! Well, I think we know.........it's called corruption.

The Tucson town council thinks it's more important to spend money on "Foo Foo" projects downtown, like the Street car deal and all the Rio Nuevo garbage. They are like Obama.....spend money on worthless endeavors. The roads here are getting very bad.
