JLW Report post Posted May 13, 2013 It will be great to buy a 365 day license. For example, a person can purchase a license on May 1st, 2013 and apply for all three big game drawings, June(2013), October(for Spring draw 2014) and February(2014) with the same license. Having to buy next years license in October before applying for the following year's Spring draw is kinda wacky! This will be much better! wouldn't your licence need to be valid for the season date for the hunt you apply for? the migratory stamps I see your point.... just change the stamps date Jan 1- Dec 31....... James It depends on how they set up the system. In Utah, you only need a valid license at the time of the application. If you're drawn, you need to get a new license to validate your tag. It's nice for those of us who apply from out of state because I can buy a license the last week of February, apply for the hunts, then the next year submit my application during the first week of February, and I don't have to buy another license. So you get two years of applying for only one license. You have to make changes if you actually draw a tag, but there are worse problems in life.

James The migratory stamps are managed by USFWS. Doubt they'd change the dates just for AZ.
AZ8 Report post Posted May 14, 2013 I am optimistic on this deal, I think there will be some good things from it. Being able to react to market issues and offer packages will be helpful to many. I hope they do some kind of discount for multiple tag buyers. I buy almost every OTC tag offered and could use come help there. I think we will see some cool packages pop up when turn out is lower on some hunts. Like leftover deals. We will see. I agree. This will be a positive move.
