Any turkey success on 2nd hunt???

I'm headed up to 6a Monday night for a few days, just wondering how the hunting is going?

I was in 4A Friday through Sunday. Not one gobble. Only saw 1 hen. Lots of hunters and lots of elk. No turkeys tho.

Same in 22, not a sounds in 3 days. saw 3 lone hens.

I've been on Gobblers the last couple days in 1, but they are really quiet. I missed a 32 yard shot with my bow Friday, and today had a gobbler following a hen (took my shotgun this time) but he never came into range. I've been out a bunch this year with the kids and we've all gotten skunked. Close a few times, but it is definitely a hard year. We've had them at the roost and strutting around just out of range but can't get them to get in close.

Those are some awesome turkey picture's! I'm headed up tonight after work, in hopes to roost a bird.

I've been hunting the second hunt in unit 6b, and have gotten pretty close. Friday morning we heard nothing, and it was breezy. Friday evening we roosted a bird. Saturday morning we did a bad set up on the bird roosted the night before, and he went the other way gobbling. We almost got him in a couple times Saturday morning. Saturday evening we didn't hunt. Sunday morning I went out and it was pretty breezy, and didn't hear anything.
