Arizona school in the hot seat

Redneck is a derogatory slang term used in reference to poor, uneducated white farmers, especially from the southern United States.[1][2] It is similar in meaning to cracker (especially regarding Georgia and Florida), hillbilly (especially regarding Appalachia and the Ozarks),[3] and white trash (but without the last term's suggestions of immorality).[4][5][6]

In recent decades, the term has expanded its meaning to refer to bigoted, loutish reactionaries who are opposed to modern ways,[7] and has often been used to attack white Southern conservatives. The term is used broadly to degrade working class and rural whites that are perceived by urban progressives to be insufficiently liberal.[8] At the same time, some Southern whites have reclaimed the word, using it with pride and defiance as a self-identifier.[9]

Proud born again Redneck is what I say to this.

Rednecks have more fun!

So kids can wear shirts with the Mexican flag on their shirts all day, really any flag for that matter, but a confederate flag is "off limits"?

Can America just divide itself in half, have the Libtards go one way and Right Wing Extremists go the other?

Hanging on the wall of the house at my grandma and grandpa's farm is a quote by a many whom I consider to be among the greatest men of all time. As a little boy I read it often but didn't understand and appreciate it until i was much older. I find it to be very applicable here:

“He who takes offense when no offense is intended is a fool, and he who takes offense when offense is intended is a greater fool.”

It was intended as a fun day. I saw many of the high school kids in my neighborhood dressing up and having a blast with it. I like the quote by Rossislider mentioned above. Go Queen Creek!!
