15 minutes from my house.

I got a couple new trail cameras. They are the Covert MPE5. I put them out off the Bush Highway. I was surprised that I did not get any deer or javelina. The date is a few days off and so is the time. Still figuring out how to set that up. Enjoy.

Cool pics! Did you know there were lots of horses in the area before you put up the cameras?

Yeah, I am was looking to see what little predators are in the area, so I can go call them. I was surprised to see the lion. I have heard a rumor or 2 about a lion killing a few horses there.

Sorry about the double posting.

Yes, I do love them bobcats and lions.

is that 22 or 24b?

if 22 does that qualify for DAYLONG shooting hours!?

22 (south of AZ Hwy 87 and FR 143, and west of
AZ Hwy 188)

The horses are getting to be a nuisance out there. They require a ton of forage, probably has a lot to do with the lack of deer & javi.

Cool pics of the cats! I am pretty sure I know that area. I saw a dead horse there 2 years ago, and my bet is that it was killed by a lion. I have called several times back there, as it is close to home. I located lion tracks there 1 time that looked fresh. They did a news story a few years ago about people reporting lion sightings out there and it was confirmed by G&F. Glad you were able to get pics of it!
