huntlines Report post Posted May 2, 2013 My son got this nice tom Saturday afternoon in unit 1. He didn't gobble until he was right on top of us. He is one of the biggest birds we have ever taken with an 11 inch beard and nearly 1 3/4 spurs! The area I hunt was burnt by the fire pretty bad and I haven't drawn turkey since the year of the fire. I'm hoping they have moved back into the area with all the new growth.
