AZ8 Report post Posted April 30, 2013 If your toilet is flushing slow and you determine it's NOT clogged, sit down and think what changed from when it was working great before you call a plumber. Long story short: One bathroom toilet suddenly was flushing slow. Guest bathroom working fine. Thinking an obstruction is the cause, I pull out the plunger and auger and go through the motions. Nothing. Pour a gallon of water in the bowl and the water drains. No clog. Then at wok, while thinking about my toilet... haha...it dawned on me what may be causing this. So I get home, remove something I did last week. BINGO!! It works. Flushing perfect! So what is it? Never use those blue deodorant tabs that go inside the tank!!!! Thats your daily tip of the day!
