bigcoues Report post Posted September 13, 2006 hey everyone just wanted to know if anyone knows if its legal to park in an easement? i found a new place in unit 33 and the only place to park is a utility easement that runs all the way up to the forest fence. can i park in there and hike in or will i get in trouble for parking my truck there?? kbaugh59 Report post Posted October 12, 2006 I work for a utility company and we generally do not bother vehicles parked on our right of way unless the vehicle is blocking a work crew from getting where they need to work. The easement or right of way is usually not the problem, it is the actual owner of the underlying fee property that might cause problems. Easements or rights of way are not ownership!
