deserttacoma84 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 Scripted or not still pretty funny. My brother and I can relate to alot of the stuff between willy and jace. Its nice to see them still say grace at the end before dinner and have a semi family lesson wrapped into the episode.
MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted April 29, 2013 Never heard of it. I don't have tv though so that could be why???? Spent today digging post holes seeding the yard washing mules swimming at the lake and now making dinner with the family and listening to old country like waylan and cash. Guess that could be why too. Haven't turned the tv on since Wednesday.

Coach Report post Posted April 29, 2013 The reason I started this, I see a trend here. When I first stared watching the show, I was hesitant. The big beards, the black makeup, I just didn't see the appeal. However, once I started watching it and getting to know they people behind the beards, I started to really relate to the people behind the show. It's worth noting, they are all highly intelligent, college educated, entrepreneurs. Phil, the dad was once first string quarterback at Louisiana Tech, ahead of Terry Bradshaw, and even taught English lit. with a Master's degree in Education. With all the "16 and Pregnant", Wife swap, bored housewife reality programming, America as voted with their remotes, and they are choosing a show with no "bleep bleep" vulgarity. They have chosen family that sits down and prays at each meal, looks out for each other and has their moral footing placed firmly in God, Family and the outdoors. I see that as a sign of good things to come.

twigsnapper Report post Posted April 29, 2013 I think it's great. It's not meant to be a true reality show. They crack me up with all their antics. In a world where we all take ourselves so serious its fun to watch a show that makes me laugh and reminds me how crazy my own family is. I also think they represent the hunting/fishing community better than most shows.
