Guest oneshot Report post Posted April 27, 2013 Not for the "Earth First" crowd...While looking into your campfire is an enjoyable part of camping, you can make it alittle better... Get yourself some, 6 seems to be about right, 3/4-1inch copper tubing around 1 ft long, pinch down one end tight, and then take that old garden hose you were throwing out and cut into 2 ft lengths. Insert folded over hose into the pipes, then toss 3 loaded pipes into the fire, the extreme heat of the burning rubber hose will make the copper pipe release gasses that will make your campfire put off greens, blues and other coool colors...The loaded pipes will last around 15-20mins... Note: smoke from said fires is prob alittle toxic... Use tongs to remove from fire, and a bucket of water to cool used pipes then re-load pipes... Enjoy...
