Guest akaspecials Report post Posted April 26, 2013 When you replace atv tires do you need to replace both front or back at the same time like a car or truck? Or can you get away with replacing just one at a time? I have a hole that won’t seal in one tire and want to just replace the singe tire if I can get away with it. Figured it's only used on rough terrain so it won't matter, but I wasn't sure.
rossislider Report post Posted April 26, 2013 If the other is still in good shape just replace the one. Since you are likely driving on rough uneven ground anyway, it shouldn't matter as long as they are the same size and shape. That is unless you one one of these guys who places their ATV/UTV looking pretty over functionality, like my brother. He has an awesome Polaris RZR with nice shiny chrome tires, fancy sound system, paint job, etc. He doesn't fish, hunt, camp, etc., and I don't think the thing has ever seen anything but pavement, but he sure looks "cool" driving around the neighborhood. Such a waste....
