Arizona Deer Association Youth Camps--Needs Your Help

Recommended Posts

Hi all!!

Don't know if any of you know this or not but i decided to jump in with both feet and help the ADA out with the youth camps--it is my baby for the next couple of years at least to get these things manned and ready.

Stan Johnson (AKA Stanley) has been the Youth Chairperson for two years and now that his boys are getting older he needs to spend that time with them. Stan will be helping with this years camps but i really need to get a few of our folks on CouesWhitetail.com to give us a hand by doing some glassing, helping with the hot coco, or help by cooking the hot dogs--really anything that you could possibly think of i need help with.

This years camps will be in 36A. 18B/20C and they we will be setting up the camps on the 16th of November and breaking the camp down on the 19th of November.

We are in the process of having a unit watch combined with these camps this year as they have in the past so we should have a great time!!

If any of you are not hunting that weekend we would really like to have you in our camps!!

Terry,

Any info about where the youth camps will be located in 36a and 18/20, and if ADA will be helping with one on the Kaibab Jr hunt? It seems that the 36 and 18/20 hunts are the same weekend; who will be in charge of each camp?

Doug, the 18B/20C hunts will be combined in our camp and i and a couple other hard working souls will be there for that one--Stan has taken on the 36A camp and we have the same group from Page taking care of the Kiabab camp this year--i believe they are called the Buckskins and they are a chapter of the ADA.

We are still working on the locations of the camps but i should have that tied down in a week or two.

You want to come up and camp out with us in 18B/20C??

Terry,

My calendar, previously empty that weekend, is now filled for 18/20 Jr Camp.

E-mail the details to me when you get them, bitte. If there is something I can do ahead of time , call me. (928) 525-9804

Good deal Doug! Thanks for jumping-in and joining. With the majority of the junior hunts being scheduled during the same time-period this fall, we'll need all the help we can get to try to cover the camps. The help is sincerely appreciated.

If any of you '36' fans are looking for a good time in late November, please consider joining us down in 36A. We'll have a great time camping and helping-out with the youngsters on their hunts. The hunt overlaps with the second weekend of the general hunt, so I know some of you will be in the area anyway. ;)

I'll be there, as my boy has one of the junior tags. Hope to see some folks come out.

S.

:)
