Couestracker Report post Posted April 24, 2013 I put in for antelope, bull elk, oryx and deer ($3,000 total).........and drew a mule deer tag in 23. Whats it take to draw elk or oryx-besides luck? Hornhunter247 Report post Posted April 24, 2013 Couestracker, no it's not better to apply with others. Nm really screwed nonresidents a couple years back. And with no bonus points, it could take years to draw anything here. It took me 16 years to draw a tag that's usually above 25% draw odds. Just got to be lucky! Good luck on your deer hunt here!
