have2bhuntn Report post Posted September 11, 2006 I have recently aquired an older Knight muzzleloader that uses NO.11 primers. I have purchased 209 primer kit for it. There was not much inthe way of instuctions but I installed it just like the old one. When I tried to shoot it yesterday the firing pin would not hit the primer. I was wondering if any one could tell what I did wrong. THe kit was supose to fit the modleof gun I have.

I also bought a winchester apex two weeks ago so it not that big of deal, the knight was going to be a spare. The apex shoot graet, it was holding a two patern at a hundred yards.
