Here is a little tip for all the mouth call users. In the past I have bought plastic or metal tone savers to put between the reeds between use to keep the reeds from sticking together. They cost $5 or $6 for around 10. From now on I will buy smaller standard sized paper clips and get 1,000 call savers for $5. With a little bending and modification a single clip can even separate all reads of a 3 reed call (used to take two tone savers).

I've always used a wooden toothpick, but like the paper clip idea, too.
