Hard copies of regs on their way

Recommended Posts

Just saw on the G & F website that the 2003-2004 fall hunt regs are on their way out to the license dealers. They should be available at most license dealers' locations by Sunday 5/23/04. I have been looking at the regs online as long as they have been available, but they don't compare to pouring through those pages. They are part of the hunting tradition for me.

I know the feeling! I have my brother print me a copy from the net as soon as they are available. I do my home work. Even when the hard copies come out I still grab about 8-10. I keep one in each bathroom, one in my real office, the other I file away to look at later. The rest? When the books run out the rest of our hunting group hits me up for a copy because they know I will have one.

Just out of curiosity, how many of you guys apply using the internet system and how many still go the conventional paper envelope route. I use the internet. CB1

I put in on the internet this year, because they are taking too much time to come out in booklet form.

I still use the paper apps and mail them the old fashioned way. Guess it's just my way of protesting the 'on-line, $5' application process. I think having to front the money shows how serious you are and I wish Arizona would go back to requiring the money paid first.

I wish they still had to be mailed in, but I will use the internet also. I agree it would eliminate a lot of people that are not as serious. It would also eliminate most out of state hunters and antis. I think they should maybe reward the locals, allow only residents who have had a hunting license for at least five years, and non-residents with at least five bonus points to apply online, all others should have to apply by mail only.

One more thing they should require the hunters safety course to apply as well.
