out2hunt Report post Posted April 9, 2013 Had that hunt last year. Was a blast but couldn't seal the deal. We hunted northern end the whole time. Good luck and post pics! I have had success calling them in during the rut in the transition areas between pine and cedar. I love the northern end when it's holding decent water. I have been told the numbers are lower in the northern end from years past. I am considering switching it up this year but who knows, we have time to think about it

MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted April 25, 2013 I was up on the mules rolling the north end looking for sheds a few weeks ago and there was a ton of water and still some snow pack in areas. We were out off trail for 2 days and man do I wish I would have been drawn this year. We were in animals alot. There were a ton of tracks as well but they were old and from the looks of the camping up there they get alot of traffic from hunters.
