Elkhunter1 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 My brother put my dad and his wife in for Elk this year, and they drew cow rifle tags. My dad has said the last two Coues tags that that was his last "BIG GAME" tag, well, I guess he was fibbing. Is this tag the last "Big Game" tag or can I talk him into one more Coues tag. My dad is 83 and he said that every year but he drew a spring turkey tag and I will have him sitting somewhere in a blind. With this being the last year for feed he is probably done. I posted that story back in 09. It was a 311 yrd shot with a 10 MPH cross wind. The second buck was last year and he placed the round right between the ears at just over 400 yrds.
