Nice pic up on the rock like that. Here's one that I was able to snap out the truck window a few years back.

Good to see that one showed in the open for you. I hope the conditions this summer allow a good comeback.

 

 

we have been seeing/hearing a lot of them in the huachucas this spring.

Great pictures. I usually see them just as I am about to step on one. One of these days I'll probably have a heart attack from it. LOL

Those things have been all over the place in the Coronado National Memorial area... Always see them at sunrise picking gravel on the roads. They remind me of Bobwhites a little bit
