bonecollector777 Report post Posted March 27, 2013 Hey guys, I have been curious as to who you guys sell your antlers to and who you found that gives the best prices? I sell to a local buyer up in the white mountains that gives good prices but seeing as though he is the only buyer I sell to I don't really know what other buyers in AZ are offering. So what prices are you getting from your buyers and who are they? We find A LOT of antlers every year. A couple thousand pounds worth so most buyers go crazy when they can get that much antler in one buy. Just kinda shopping around for the best prices I guess. Thanks guys! And if you are a buyer send me a PM to talk about your prices.

brian390 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 I got $9 a pound for unbroken brown, and $8.50 a pound for broken brown. This was in Flagstaff with Jeff Allen. Anthonyrmatthews, where in Flag did you get $10.00 a pound?
anthonyrmatthews Report post Posted April 3, 2013 There are several antler buyers in town. You have to talk with them to see what they'll do. They all say they'll match prices. I had 2 different ones from Craigslist tell me they'd match $10/lb.
bonecollector777 Report post Posted April 4, 2013 Hey, Don't fall for that crap that broken antlers are worth less. If it's brown it's brown and they know that. Just a way to screw you over and they will turn around and sell it as if it were a regular brown. Same way with hard white. Even if it one broken point it's still worth the same amount. Lol this ^^ Unless theyre using it for furniture etc. I believe it all gets sent to China and ground up anyways
bonecollector777 Report post Posted April 5, 2013 Yeah the guys that use it for furniture are paying the same price for browns as the other guy that's using the broken browns to make knife handles out of. So if you feel like losing money to your antler buyer that docks for broken points you're nicer than I am. Most of the buyers I have dealt with don't mention anything about them being broken and if they do I simply pick up my antlers and go find a buyer who is fair.
