bigorange Report post Posted March 31, 2013 Bump for a nice deal on a nice truck. Almost exactly what I have in mind for my next truck except I want quad cab and leather for the kids...
PRDATR Report post Posted March 31, 2013 Bump for a nice deal on a nice truck. Almost exactly what I have in mind for my next truck except I want quad cab and leather for the kids... Just an FYI. If you will be looking for a Ford Super Duty with 4 doors and a full sized back seat that model is referred to as the crew cab version by Ford. Might save you some time if you use a browser to do searches for vehicles.

Now two more kidsnlater its time to let it go and get a four door. I had planned on keeping this truck till the wheels fell off but things have changed. Had I known this along time ago I wouldn't have put so much money into it. Oh well, I suppose you live and learn.
Tucson John Report post Posted April 1, 2013 Ghost hunter, I'm going the other way.....my girls are 26 and 23 now....so it's just me the wife and my lab Sadie! I just bought a 2002 Lance cab over camper and I need to look into if this camper will fit your truck....but I may be interested in a trade. Mine is a 2001 F350, 4door quad cab with many similar mods as yours. I'll pm you for more info. Happy Easter! TJ
PRDATR Report post Posted April 1, 2013 TJ, How long is that camper? I'm pretty sure his truck has the 6 1/2' bed.
rugermack Report post Posted April 1, 2013 6 3/4' bed, I have one.
Ghosthunter Report post Posted April 1, 2013 6 3/4' bed, I have one. Yup, its the 6 3/4' bed.
Tucson John Report post Posted April 1, 2013 Yes, it's the 6 3/4 foot bed. The part I was concerned about is how far over the cab it would hang. This thing is , as I understand it, made for a Crew cab. So that kind of puts the Kabosh on my idea. That and my wife kind of had, lets say a not so positive reaction to my idea!? ylclaret Report post Posted April 2, 2013 Hey guys, I also have a truck I need to sell and it sounded like maybe some of you might be interested. It's a 99 f-250 with a 7.3 liter power stroke. This truck was TEP fleet truck so the interior is very basic. Crank windows, manual door locks, and vinyl flooring. It's got 148,xxx miles. It was a two wheel drive that I had converted to 4x4 and lifted. 20 inch factory ford wheels. 2005 grille bumper and headlights, and we replaced the inter cooler with one out of a 6.0. I had all the body work done and new paint when we did the upgrades, which was a little over a year ago. Truck runs great but there are a couple issues. The power steering seems to be whining, which seems to be a pretty common thing with these trucks. Also, the ac compressor is out. If interested please let me know. I'm new to this forum so it might take me a bit to figure out how to use it properly. Asking $11,
