Greer cabin rentals

Recommended Posts

Thinking about taking a long weekend in Greer around the end of May. Looking for some references on cabin rentals. Basically just looking to get away for a few days. Only thing really on our "to do" list is some fishing.

I've done some searching on the web and there's a ton of options to choose from. Anyone here have a recommendation?

We rented a cabin in Greer this winter through molly butler lodge. It was extremely reasonable pricing and awesome service! I'd highly recommend it. We stayed at the whispering pines cabin, just FYI.

There probably will be enough cabins to rent before Memorial Day. However, I suggest everyone who plans to stay in Greer between Memorial and Labor days make their reservations now.

About half of the village's rental cabins are involved in a bankruptcy and the investors who buy them in the foreclosure auctions starting next month may take a while to get up to speed.

Check out the Johnson Cabin, it is over near the Red Setter Inn. It is a really big cabin, something like 8 rooms? That is where my wife and I got married and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is owned by one of the Co-owners of Molly Butler.

I would highly recommend looking up X-Diamond ranch! They have numerous cabins and a private creek with 3 ponds! You have to pay a little extra to fish, but it's worh it! Amazing view and the owner Wink is amazing! She has some great stores about the area. My wife and I got married there a few days before Greer was evacuated during the Willow fire! That was a very stressfull couple of days!!!!

We stayed at the Braided Rug cabin. ( I think it was ) We shot our bows off the 2nd floor deck. Nobody behind that cabin. It's closer to the main highway.

We used to stay a week every year at the Hoyer campground, but one year we brought my Mom and stayed at Antler Ridge. It was pretty decent.

That looks like a great place. My Sis is coming into town from Florida to stay for a while and visit with Mom so I am going to call them tomorrow and see if we can get the house next week for a couple of days.

I can recomend myricks cabins, stayed there last august after a friends recommendation and really enjoyed it there. Clean cabins, nice grounds, and tons of grasshoppers in the field to catch for trout bait.

Like DUG, my family also rented the Braided Rug Cabin from Molly Butler last spring in April. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it. That deck DUG mentioned is awesome for some back porch sitting, picking, and grinning!
