This is the guys website: http://www.pheasantrec.com/

I LITERALLY live fifteen minutes away from that place, but have never hunted it.

Wish I had some of those pheasant tail feathers for fly tying, lol.

Thanks I'll check it out!

Holy crap Nate and James. I have enough trouble hitting them with a 12ga. I'll have to give that a try this season. :)

TJ, I just used Adder Points to my field points. I was taking them on the ground when they paused behind the bushes. I was never good enough at the time to take them out of the air.

How did you like the ranch? I have really wanted to go Pheasant Hunting, but I really dont like the idea of a bagged hunt. Would it be a good hunt for a kid?

I went on one of these about 12 years ago...they shake the birds so bad when they place them so they will stay put, we had to hit them with the muzzle to get them in the air. Not sure about this facility, but my feeling is these are more for dog training than hunting..IMO

I went to the place in coolidge and guys dog went on point so he shuffled feet and actually kicked the bird and it just rolled over so he picked it up and snapped its neck stuck it in my vest and said "1st bird in bag"! It was most ridiculous thing ive ever seen. heck i could have killed that one with a burger king straw and a spit wad!
