My card got hit for 77.50 this morning. Looks like I'm getting my first antelope tag.

The order in which your card is hit has no connection to which tag or choice you drew...or at least so says the Department. It proved true for us last year though. The last charge to come through (at the tail end of the day) was for the application that drew tag numbers 15 and 16 on an early rifle bull tag. I stay on top of the charges and get a text notification as soon as the temporary charge is run. When I get fast food, I usually get the text between the time they run my card and when they hand me my at the drive thru.

That is a great idea, I just set up our card to send me a text when a charge hits our card!! I will be listening with high hopes.

Flatlander I don't think they have a pattern like you were saying. My family put in together and none of us have more than 7 points for elk so we definitely aren't in any of the bonus point passes and we got hit early today for $114. So I'm not sure how they do it or if there is any method to the madness.

I could be way off but one would think the draw is complete and successful applicants' CCs are now getting hit in no special order. But I'm wrong often, just ask the wife.

Well its all irrelevant to me now, $114 hit the credit card last night. Now all I can think about is bugling bulls. Its either early rifle or early archery this is my first early tag. Its been a long drought, my last AZ elk tag was a Nov. bull tag in 2005.
