willhunt4coues Report post Posted March 18, 2013 My boy Zack (almost 7) has took his first harvest of many. He usually is ready to head home only after being out for around 3 hours but now he does not want to go home and now is wanting to tag along next weekend when dad and I head out for spring bear. The rifle is a 6.8 Remington 700 PERFECT rifle for youths with a bit of knockdown (and us older guys can use it to knockdown some yotes). I took him to the range MANY MANY times and after watching him shoot this rifle at 100 200 300 yards (as long as I dial for him) and hit perfect shots consistently I know it will a short time before he gets his first yote. I know one thing the rifle is too big (heavy) and with the help of the Triclawps system he can now get out hunting more often.
