cosninocanines Report post Posted March 16, 2013 Strange! Today I was approached by a guy who wanted to find a butcher shop that sold rabbit. Back in the day we ate a lot of rabbit growing up and I'm sure it was available from most butcher shops and in the field. In todays world I doubt any butcher (fine meats) shops carry it but didn't know what to say, so I told him walk the rail line (Burlington Northern in our neck of the woods) and hunt his own rabbit's. I hope a lot of youngsters are still out there hunting them up.
DesertBull Report post Posted March 16, 2013 Youngs farm in P valley used to sell rabbit. I knew a guy that raised rabbit in his back yard for personal consumption. Rabbit is awesome but the rabbit around here taste nothing like what I ate as a kid in Illinois.
