HaYen Report post Posted March 13, 2013 A family member picked up a used TC with 2 barrels (22-250 and a 30-06). I reloaded for both calibers for two separate hunts. In both cases, the rifle experienced misfires. With the 30-06, he would eject the round and try it again and it would fire. This occurred around every other round. I load my own 30-06 and 22-250 rounds for my two rifles and did not experience and problems. For the 30-06 I used CCI LR primers and for the 22-250 I used CCI Bench Rest primers. I can see the indent where the firing pin struck the primer but it isn't very deep. Is he not getting good enough contact when closing the breech? Any ideas?ThanksBJ
PRDATR Report post Posted March 13, 2013 Is it a Contender or Encore? With the Contenders sometimes the hinge pin is worn and can cause that. Check out this site or give Mike a call. http://www.bellmtcs.com/store/
