huntress30 Report post Posted March 11, 2013 So I just recently bought my first bow for bowfishing. Our friends have said how much fun it is. Alright, what the heck. It gives us the opportunity to use a bow year round. How could one say no?!?! We have been discussing it and figuring out a good day or weekend we could give it heck ... This was the weekend. :-/, then the storm came and discouraged us a little bit. However, waking up this morning, we realized what a great day it was and a couple of our good friends invited us to join them . We get there, I have no feelings, I'm neutral, ready to 1, see nothing or 2, hit alot of rocks.. Luckily, we had alot of action.. Water was pretty murky, but the weeds in the water were moving around like crazy.. I get my first shot, can't see the fish but I know where it's at. ANNND, too high. Okay move on.. Second shot comes, I use my site put it where the fish should be, then lower it down. AIM LOW, right?!? So I did and my first fish with my bow, was shot!!! Ps, who would have thought, that fishing this way would catch such a crowd.. So many people amazed seeing four people fishing with bows. Some stopping to take pictures. Lol city slickers do ya!!!
