I'm considering buying this scope for my 338 Lapua. Anyone here have this scope or know much about it?

Great optic for the money. Look into the PST over the HS.

 

The HS is a hunting scope targeted at that purpose. You can still get the long range version with exposed elevation turret. The PST stands for Precision Shooting/Tactical so it has features geared towards a shooter. Look into the option of the EBR or mil dot. Then you can range AND compensate for drop.
