Evan Report post Posted March 4, 2013 This kid can't wait until she is 10. She wants her first hunt to be a Coues hunt, and can tell the difference between any Arizona big game animal. Had to show off my 5 year old, she is almost ready for a real compound bow!

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 Very nice, but based on the picture it looks to me like she is trying to aim with her left eye? If thats the case, gotta pick her up a left handed bow!

123456 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 Very nice, but based on the picture it looks to me like she is trying to aim with her left eye? If thats the case, gotta pick her up a left handed bow! I do not know too many people who shoot with the string on the right side of their nose and aim with the left eye. Seems it would be hard to look thru the peep!!! She is a cutie and with her starting at such a young age, she should have lots of trophy's hanging on the walls.

You are correct, but unless my eyes have gone bad, her right eye is closed and her left eye is the open one "aiming"
Pine Donkey Report post Posted March 7, 2013 Oh, you have some of the greatest times of your life ahead of you with youth hunts. Cherish every moment. Thanks for sharing this pic with us!
Viper Report post Posted March 7, 2013 Evan, she is a cutie! That is a fun age. I remember when my boys were that age....lots of fun. Above all, make your outings/learnings fun and she will stick with it. I find that young ladies brought up in the outdoors, learning to shoot/hunt, are well adjusted and more self-sufficient...a good foundation for the rest of their life.
