ElKen Report post Posted March 3, 2013 Hi everybody, I am new to the forum and just have a quick question. I boiled my javelina skull and I ended up with 2 extra canine teeth. I have no idea where they go. I have the 2 top ones and the 2 lower ones and now these 2 extra ones. Any idea where they go? This is the second skull I have boiled and didn't have these extra teeth on the first one I boiled. Thanks
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted March 3, 2013 Is it possible that one set of canines split in half? that often happens with javelina and they can split so perfectly that it might look like another set of teeth...
ElKen Report post Posted March 3, 2013 No, all the teeth are intact. I am pretty stumped.

ElKen Report post Posted March 4, 2013 I can't seem to be able to add pics, but I know what you mean by the teeth splitting. One of the teeth split a little. Less as wide of a tooth pick. Who knows, its just different I guess. All that matters is that I got one and we will be eating some good red chile javelina. So far it's the best tasting way to cook it for us.
