Anyone seen this before? PICS.....

Dad and I were out glassing on Sunday morning and we saw a coues doe with triplets. In all my years behind the binos that was a first for me.

I have seen it before in the Galiuros, several years ago. And that was the only time. It was great to see!!

 

I never got a photo of them though since I didn't have a camera at the time. Nice that you got a pic!

That's a great pic Josh. It should be a good year for the fawns with all the tall grass to hide from predators. I was up north this past weekend and there is knee high grass everywhere, where just a few months ago it was ankle high. Good feed and good cover.

Two years ago we saw two does with 6 fawns. We just joked about them being at the baby sitters house.

only problem there is she ain't got enough tits to feed em all. that's what ya call no tit for tat. (ok, 'teat', i was raised in the country) i've seen triplets a few times. mostly with muleys tho. can't remember seein' triplet whitetails. Lark.

Glad you guys all liked the pic, they sure were fun to watch. Those little suckers couldn't have been but about 15lbs each when you consider the size of an adult doe. I wish I coulda taken them home with me.
