Rifle2Bow Report post Posted February 27, 2013 .........still had a great hunt with my dad and that's what it's all about. My dad is old school (glassing is cheating w javelinas) so I'm was the only one w binocs. No pig sightings either. I saw a bunch of Deer (maybe 10-12) in two days, mostly mule but one in particular I think was a 'Coues' as it was a smaller in stature buck and unlike any deer I've seen. Almost like a smaller whitetail say 100 lbs and that's being generous. I snapped a picture as he looked at me but iPhone pics aren't the best in the distance. I think me not knowing the unit had something to do with or the piggies picking up my dads constant fart echoes and scent. Anyway, on to the next hunt for me and that is Black bear.
