COOSEFAN Report post Posted February 20, 2013 Here's a shed I found south of the border so unfortunately it's still there but I snapped a few pics for you all. I've never held a full size shed like this, it's literally "pencil thin"! I can't believe the buck never broke any of the tines with how fragile they are! firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted February 20, 2013 That is pretty interesting! I would really like to know the age of that buck and whether that's what he grew up to be or if it was a youngin' or an old buck or what! Neat find.
azslim Report post Posted February 20, 2013 good gene's in that small buck is my guess didn't know you couldn't bring sheds back from Mexico, knew you couldn't on the Rez.
Coues Sniper Report post Posted February 20, 2013 Based on the small pedicle, I'd tend to agree with slim. Although the buck I killed this season has small pedicles and he was 6 years +. Cool shed Jim.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted February 20, 2013 I would guess young buck with good nutrition that let him grow large thin antlers....

az_shooter Report post Posted February 21, 2013 That's really cool, I found one like it that's a thin 3 point but mine isn't quite as thin as that one, neat find though.
