elkhutnaz Report post Posted February 18, 2013 Yes New Mexico, public land...was one of the hardest animals to harvest, great times and very rewarding....a TON of hiking and glassing.....we spike camped in about 5 miles and would hunt in from there, the first sheep we took about 3 1/2 miles from camp..
