WHALE Report post Posted February 14, 2013 Emmy and I were able to harvest a pig together. She is nine years old and ready to start hunting next year but has tagged along several times with this being the first kill she has been a part of. We spotted the pigs as they were layed out sunning and got to within 85 yards and I took the shot with the muzzle loader. Emmy followed the blood 50 yrds to were the pig died. Great trip emmy's first successful hunt, her first blood trail and my first muzzle loader pig. Thanks to my brother for loaning me the gun and thanks to emmy for coming with dad.
