ultramag Report post Posted August 21, 2006 I need some feedback. If you plan on camping in a certain spot and you leave your trailer there. like say the weekend before the hunt starts is this a bad thing to do?other than taking risk of someone messing with it is it bad etiquette? It would sure save time and gas thru night before the opener. hunterdude Report post Posted August 21, 2006 My thought on this is, it's not a bad thing but in some Nat. forest you can only have it in there for 14 days then you have to move it out of the forest. Now how that holds up in court with hunts back to back I don't know. I would probably worry more about people jacking with it more than anything else. azhuntnut Report post Posted August 22, 2006 I left mine out twice last year. Once right before my elk hunt and the second time it was parked right off of 260 in 6a for about five days. I put some LED lights inside that run off of batteries. One of them lights up the trailer and the other blinks red. Nobody touched anything while I was gone. Make sure you leave the awning out and a couple chairs so it looks like somebody is there. David
