Did you see on CNN that the shooter sent something and it had 1 MAO on some tape that was attached to a Service Coin and they were thinking it said something like "Imagine A More Open American"... I was like HUH??? Coach Report post Posted February 10, 2013 Just to be clear - I am in NO WAY advocating this ex-cop, or anything he is doing. He is completely unhinged, and needs to be brought in and charged for his crimes. What scares the heck out of me is, and the reason I started this thread is once LAPD started this manhunt, they were given the description of a dark blue or gray Nissan Titan pickup to keep an eye out for that this guy might be driving. The next morning two women are delivering newspapers in a teal Toyota Tacoma and the cops apparently just started blasting away. That could be any of us - our wives, our kids our parents - who just happen to be targeted for being in the wrong vehicle at the wrong time. It speaks to the incompetence of those police involved, the shoot-first identify the suspect later mentality, and the fact that only the LA Times even covered this incident. I haven't seen it anywhere else - and it's a huge freakin' deal. Nobody gave the police the right to just start shooting up civilians in hopes that sooner or later they might happen to shoot up the "right" truck. If I lived around LA and had a Nissan Titan, I'd rent a Prius to drive to work for fear of getting pulverized by a hellfire missile. All joking aside, this is gross neglegence, and those officers appear to have displayed extremely poor judgement. CA is going to have to dip into their medical pot fund to pay both women millions of dollars.
