Pixman Report post Posted February 7, 2013 So I went out this morning Feb. 7th hoping to find some coues deer knowing full well there are mulyes where we were going but I didn't expect to see a nice 4x3 rutting with a group of doe's. I've seen muleys pushing does in the 1st week of march. I think if the does that don't get bred they will cycle again and the bucks who didn't burn out can still go another round. I think I read something that the younger bucks don't know how to conserve will not be interested cause they are spent... I could be off..... maybe that was a dream or something that stuck in my head from a hunting show whislt I was napping. Great photos Pixman!!! the clarity is unbelievably awesome! thanks for sharing. Lazy-H98 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 I'll second the motion JLW mentioned. Does that didn't get bred the first time around will cycle one more time a month later. This causes the dominant bucks to hang around just a little longer to pass on thier bloodline in preparation for dropping their antlers and some down time.
