Red Rabbit Report post Posted August 20, 2006 Both of those coues should give some motivation to stay on the stand. At what time of day were those coues posing for the camera? RR
GRONG Report post Posted August 22, 2006 Andy won't even try to kill one of those bucks since he's addicted to spot and stalk. Right Andy?
DEERSLAM Report post Posted August 23, 2006 Dang, those are a couple of great looking bucks. Love the character on the last buck.
Redbeard Report post Posted August 23, 2006 Although Andy perfected "spot and spook" he has also spent weeks perched in a tree perfecting "sit and sleep" He'll be up in one of these spots and I'll be in the other. Unfortunately those bucks don't come in very often. Like twice in two weeks. Has anybody else noticed that elk LOVE to vandalize cameras? We must have 50 pictures of bulls faces and antlers at point blank. They won't leave the cameras alone. I'm thinking we just sit in a tree with a camera on it for bait. azhuntnut Report post Posted August 24, 2006 Redbeard, The elk are knocking my cameras off of the trees. I think maybe there is a smell on there that they don't like. Last weekend I had three cameras on the ground. David
Red Rabbit Report post Posted August 29, 2006 David, Are your trail cams the film type? Maybe the elk smell the film like bears do. RR
