We cosigned for my son and his wife for a new used car about two years ago after he rolled his rig.

 

They paid off the loan and I recieved an overpayment check from Ally yesterday in the mail.

 

The check amount was for $.01.

 

They spent $.38 cents to mail the check to us..............

 

Wow..........now that is some serious business there...........

LOL. At least they didn't send you a bill claiming you owed them more money. Alot of banks try those little flim flam techniques hoping to catch people off guard and get a few extra bucks.
