Big Browns Report post Posted February 6, 2013 Do you have to have a hunter safety card to apply for Elk and Antelope in New Mexico? Do you have to purchase a hunting license to apply like Az?
SunDevil Report post Posted February 6, 2013 I have not applied in NM for a few years but it my understanding you do not need to have hunter safety and you do not have to buy a license. their non resident application fee is $28 per species I believe. Arizona Griz Report post Posted February 6, 2013 Starting last year you had to buy a license. It is $65 for a NR. It is refundable if you don't draw but you have to check the appropriate box when applying for the license.
