Settle a bet for me

I have a buddy that swears we have 2 species of whitetail in the state of AZ. I keep telling him there are only coues WT here. Who's right?

There are two;

#1 The ones you can see and hunt, who are always in a different unit.

 

#2 The ones who disappear, and are invisible, like the ones in the unit you have a tag for. .
