Last Day Duck Hunt!

I decided to head out for one last try at finding some Ducks! It turned out to be a really great day! There were a lot of Ducks out! I was able to jump these up on a few different water holes. My son was able to get his first Duck's ever! He was very, very excited! It was also his first time shooting a 12 GA. I was a little unsure how he would handle it, but he did great! After shooting the first bird, the second jumped up and started flying away. My son new exactly what to do. I watched him start to follow the duck and fire! He drilled it! He yelled out “I got him while he was flying ". We were both very excited! It was a great last day Duck hunt!

I think it's a Hen Wigeon, but I could be wrong!

Sweet! What a great last day! Love the Gadwalls......love mixed bags anyway,that's why I love duck hunting! Great Job!
