Idiot Next Door

Green Valley, AZ.... At 9:00pm friday night, while on my couch in boxers, I hear a gunshot from the apt. down stairs, Do I grab a Rifle??? or Pants??? After stepping outside (with pants), the moron comes out and states" I was cleaning my pistol and it went off... Do you think the police are going to come???".... Well yeah you dumb azz cause I called them already... Pima Co. Sheriffs show-up within 3-4 mins and the madness begins.... I stood off to the side with some cover and pointed them to the apt. Both Sheriffs stand in the fatal funnel in front of the door and #1 knocks on the door like a timid Girl Scout trying to sell her first box of cookies. After asking if anyone else is in the apt. #1 Sheriff questions Idiot while #2 takes the tiny dog outside on a leash so the dog can do his bidness in the bushes... Then #2 checks bullet hole through window and joins the hunt for bullet strike, I was already checking my FJ for any holes, finding none, I asked #2 if he wanted my laser pointer to help follow bullet path in case it entered another apt. and someone is leaking all over their couch... No response, so I back off and enter my apt.... They didnt hook him up and take away or remove his firearms... This morning I told apt managers, " Either the Idiot moves out or I do your choice.".... I havent been this PO'd in a LONG time...

I'd sleep with a bullet proof vest on until one of you moves. 😳 Sorry about the situation, that's sucks!

People always forget the basic rule, keep your finger off the trigger.

Or how about always UNload your gun before you start cleaning!?

Have heard of people racking the slide on a semi-auto pistol to clear them chamber with their finger on the trigger. Caused one person a trip to the hospital when a 40 S&W round went into his forearm. He was a very lucky person to not have had permanent loss of his arm.
