OneTeam Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Just bought a bushmaster AR-15 and I'm wanting to set it up for some coyotes. I was thinking of getting the Leupold Mark-4 MRT. Just wondering what you guys think of a setup or how you have yours set up.

PRDATR Report post Posted January 27, 2013 I have been looking too and like the VX-R but haven't had a chance to look through one yet. It has a bigger tube so it stands to reason it will let in more light. I'm looking for something light with lots of eye relief with no more than 6X that won't break the budget. For calling I know from past experiences that most shots are under 50 yards.
sniper Report post Posted January 27, 2013 I have that same Mark 4 MRT scope on one of my AR's, it would work great. My coyote gun is a Remington R-15 with a bushnell 3-9x40 mildot. Great little scope, always clear and no problems. I usually always have it on 3 power, RARELY will I zoom further. A good 1-4, 2.5-8, 3-9, 4-12 would do the job perfectly. Here is a pic of my rifle with a huge cat.
